This is a picture of a cell, no of course its not a real cell it's made of cake, sprinkles, an half orange, pretzels, M & M's, gum, skittles, and my favorite sour pouch pieces. I know right, YUMMY! It was fun making it and it also was a little hard, but me and my group pulled it of fabulously, yay! If you look closely you can see that the different goodies are labeled. As good as it looks it tasted even better. This was a good project to put on my website because it was a good way to make and remember things.

This is a link to one of the projects that we did in the 2nd quarter. We did DNA jewelry, it consisted of beads, gold wires, and good listening skills. You can click on this link to make your own DNA jewelry! It's fun.

This is a picture of an assignment we had to do in science class. This assignment was about a scientist we had to make a slide show on. Our group, as you can see, Picked Erwin Chargaff. We told our class about his personal information, education, career, two to three slides on the contributions he made, and the last slide called the conclusion, in which we had to write a paragraph on why Erwin Chargaff deserves the Nobel Prize. we wrote for the paragraph:
This scientist, Erwin Chargaff, is worthy of winning the Nobel Prize because he basically is the base for other scientists that studied the DNA structures. He found out the four bases of DNA, Adenine, Thymine, Cytosine, and Guanine. This discovery helped Watson and Crick build their model correctly and helped Rosalind in her discovery as well. The Chargaff Rules were and still are important, his discoveries help scientist today build models that are based on his discoveries. I put this here to give you an idea on what we didi for projects in science, and how they help us learn things that we ourselves didn't know. some of the information is wrong, on accident |
For this last and final quarter, in science we had to do a animal project. Each group in our class was assigned a animal and the group had to find information on that animal, based on the type of information we had to search up, and create about five slides in the group slideshow. There were four parts to the slide show, the general facts, the adaptions, the reproduction, and the human interaction. The animal we had to do this project on was the Reticulated Giraffe. The hardest part and the most unlikable part was going up in front of the class and presenting your slides, especially for me I DO NOT like all attention on me... yes I have stage freight! For this assignment we even got to go to the zoo and meet our own animal! This assignment determined a massive part in our fourth quarter grade for science, which was the reason I wanted to share this with you, and I also wanted too share this with you because it was a pretty fun assignment.
