This is a picture of a graph from one of my math class tasks. The task is called 'the restaurant task'. I put this picture on my weebly website because I thought that this would give you an idea of what we do here for assignments. These assignments helped (me) to understand the different parts of the math. It had steps we had to take that made it easier to do the math itself, I hope you get the idea. The foods I decided to use, as you can see, was Indian, Mexican, and American foods. The academic purpose and different views, was the reason why I put it in my weebly.

For the third quarter, our class did the Liberty Statue task. In the task we had to figure out what we needed (number and mathematic wise) to figure out how big our arm would be if we were as big as the statue. Which was a bit difficult, by the way. This task was very entertaining because of the video we had to watch. You can say the video was very... interesting. Many people in my class enjoyed this task, it was entertaining and that's why I decided to share this with you.

For this last fourth quarter our class made foil boats and put pennies in them, counting as we added each penny. Along with the task we did some math. We had to figure out the boat's volume and its base's surface area. After finding that information we had to put our boat on water and one penny at a time, while counting each penny. We had two days, each day we built a boat with a classmate, or two. The first day my group's boat only held 12 pennies, but the second day our boat held 73 pennies, making it a big improvement. The only reason our second boat held more pennies, was because our second boat was more in a rectangular shape than the first. The reason I shared this task with you was because, it was my favorite task all year and it was a very fun task, it also is a good task for you to do.
