SEMESTER CLASS (TWO QUARTERS)
|
This is a picture of the CADD assignments we have to do in drafting class. We use t-squares, (those are just basically straight, rectangular wooden/plastic things with a wooden shape that looks like this: {] well kind of, it's hard to describe... sorry), we use Staedler Triangular Scales (which are triangular ruler type of things), we use special pencils (2H, 4H, and F) F being the darkest and 2H being the lightest, we use triangles (which are triangles, but one is slanted at 45 degrees, and the other at 30 degrees), we use circle templates (they help us make the right shaped circles in the right places of the drawing), and lastly we use tape to hold down the paper as we sketch on it. These things made me want to add this to my website, I just wanted to give you an idea of how things are in drafting class.

This is a picture of one of the assignments we are doing in the fourth quarter for drafting. We have to find different shapes of pieces, from 27 cubes. From those 27 cubes we have to make six pieces that will slide together and make a cube. But before we even try to make the cube we have to go through procedures, like the solution chart (on which we have three diamonds three by three squares and from those diamonds we have to create the cube puzzle pieces.) It's quite hard but it's also pretty fun, which is why I decided to share this with you.
